The Wagyu Super is a multi-day annual event held every Fall in October at the Bluegrass Stockyards in Lexington, Kentucky. The event requires that all live Cattle consigned must have a breed association registration. It can be from any of the three breed registration registries. 

Cattle not registered will not be allowed entry. Buyers should buy with confidence as all lots in the Super will provide more “detail” then available in most other Wagyu sales.

Consignors should consign with confidence as The Super will allow sellers to get a full value on the genetic merit of their livestock. Lexington, Kentucky is famous for its horse parks; the Kentucky Horse Park is located directly next to our sale barn and Lexington offers many places to visit. The bourbon trail is available to all, Keeneland racetrack calls Lexington home and many other sites to see.

The event itself is a destination Sale, we encourage you to bring the family and come experience the Bluegrass!

Cattle can be viewed on Friday, which also features guest speakers giving some short presentations beneficial to all Wagyu breeders. A Cocktail party Friday evening, accompanied with excellent featured Wagyu on the menu, live music and more.

The Wagyu Super is produced by Studwagyuauction.com along with its sister event, “The Big Texas” held in May at the Fort Worth stockyards in Fort Worth, Texas. This will be the sales for elite and special seedstock in the Wagyu breed. The criteria for entry to the “Big Texas” sale is identical to the “Super”.

The Fort Worth stockyards have become a major tourist destination. A visit to Fort Worth and all that it offers will not be forgotten.
